Since the official presentation of the SLS AMG I’ve had my fair share of the gullwing beauty. IAA, Tokyo, Gran Turismo 5. And there’s more to come, that’s for sure. However, for all those who haven’t had the pleasure yet, the SLS AMG is currently presented at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, hometown to our beloved automotive brand.
The clou: The SLS AMG was lifted high into the air, spreading its wings to an altitude of 42 meters. Where it landed on the museum’s 465 square meter roof deck. It must have been exciting to watch. Especially since the roof deck is usually not open to public.
So, to give you the basics: The SLS AMG will be exhibited on the roof deck (with a spectacular view over the Mercedes-Benz plant Untertürkheim) until October 16th, 2009.

If you have a chance to visit the museum, let me know what you think!
Oh, and of course I’ll also drop by. Just to make sure my beauty’s doing alright…
